DEMONSTRATION  BASE

This project was invested and constructed by the professional cooperative for Huaxin agricultural and sideline products under Shandong Yantai Huaxin Group. With a total investment of 120 million Yuan, this project includes national guest gift of China - Minlian Apple Base and national gift apple distribution center. The apple production base covers a floor space of 1,100 mu at Nanbingjia Village, Sikou Town.

The apple production base of Huaxin Minlian Cooperative has passed the audit of the review committee for China national guest gift and The China Asia - Pacific Economic Cooperation Center in China and was rated as the only production base for (APEC) apple - Chinese foreign affairs for national guest gift. Besides, Minlian apple was verified as national guest gift product for foreign affairs.

The (APEC) China national guest gift project has been deeply implementing the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and adhering to the development idea of “upholding by the government, focusing on enterprises, diversified input, scientific management,

and market operation”. Integrating the advanced concept of the modern agricultural science and technology park in China, the project has invited authoritative agricultural expert group in China to carry out planning and design on the base and enhanced cooperation with the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and technical organ. Besides, it commits to creating leading and modern organic apple planting demonstration base at home and abroad. Through technological demonstration, achievements popularization, technical training and other services, it leads farmers to raise the production quality of apple and to have the brand awareness. By the time the demonstration area is constructed, it is both the concentration and communication center of agricultural science and technology information and the training center and a base for science education. It will become an ideal place for the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to carry out scientific experiment and achievements popularization and will provide wide space for the connection between scientific research institutions and enterprises and for the common development of contributing achievement transformation and demonstration and popularization. Moreover, it will contribute to the coordinated development of China’s urban and rural economies and lead to remarkable economic benefit, ecological benefit and social benefit.
